I wanted to encourage you all today with this scripture: “Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.” (1 Thess. 5:23)

My name is Taylore Milla, and this is part of my story. For 16 years, I struggled with compulsive overeating/binge eating disorder, and eventually, I reached 370 pounds. On September 11, 2011, at 355 lbs., I started Redefining My Life. For me, this is all about healing, growing and changing, and learning how to not just survive my life, but thrive in it. Learning how to love and care for myself, and honoring God by doing that, is my goal and what drives me everyday to continue this.
Though I think the weight loss is an important part of this, I don't think it's everything, and a number on a scale can only tell you so much. I will be weighing in and updating from time to time, but I'm seeking to really celebrate and embrace all parts of this journey, not just a number on a scale. I hope you'll join me in that.
